LOS ANGELES, Nov. 4, 2026 — Havenwood Data is introducing a service to help business owners explore licensing existing business data for artificial intelligence development. The company helps owners identify potentially relevant records, understand prospective licensing requirements and consider suitable referral routes.

The service focuses on records created through everyday business activity, including documents, communications, estimates, job histories, engineering files and other operational information. Whether those records are suitable depends on their content, retained history, quantity, ownership and restrictions, along with the requirements of a prospective licensing transaction.

"Business owners need a clear answer to a practical question: Is this worth exploring?" said Chris Haydon of Havenwood Data. "Our approach starts with understanding what already exists, checking whether there is a plausible fit and keeping the initial workload manageable."

An initial discussion begins with a high-level description of the business and its existing records. Owners do not need to provide sensitive files, business-system passwords or direct system access to start exploring an opportunity. Where an inventory already exists, Havenwood aims to build on that work.

Any subsequent evaluation or licensing transaction requires separate review of the relevant records, permissions and commercial terms. Those terms may address permitted uses, preparation costs, payment, exclusivity and existing licensing commitments. An initial inquiry does not establish buyer acceptance or a licensing value.

Havenwood's business model is to receive compensation from licensing partners under applicable written agreements, rather than charge data providers a Havenwood fee.

Business owners and authorized company representatives interested in an introductory discussion can visit havenwooddata.com or email [email protected].
