BENGALURU, India — September 11, 2026 — Bill Sarthi, a restaurant billing and management software platform, has released a browser-based Web POS for desktop and larger-screen devices, the company said.

The Web POS is available at web.billsarthi.com and complements Bill Sarthi's existing mobile-based restaurant management workflows. The web interface supports billing, kitchen order coordination, table management, payment handling, customer details, and other routine operations from a larger workspace.

According to the company, restaurant teams often use multiple devices during service hours. While mobile devices offer flexibility for owners and staff, a desktop-style interface can be more suitable for billing counters, managers, and restaurants that process a higher volume of orders, the company said.

The Web POS provides a browser-based workspace for common restaurant tasks including billing, order entry, and checkout. Staff can search menu items, create orders, select payment modes, apply discounts, add customer information, and complete bills from a larger screen. The system also supports printing workflows for customer bills and kitchen order tickets.

Bill Sarthi supports Kitchen Order Ticket workflows that transfer order information from the billing or ordering process to the kitchen. By keeping order information within the same restaurant management system, businesses can reduce dependence on handwritten communication and maintain a clearer flow between the counter, service staff, and kitchen, according to the company.

For dine-in businesses, the Web POS includes table management capabilities that allow teams to organize orders according to restaurant tables. This provides a structured workflow for managing customer orders before final billing. The functionality is relevant for restaurants, cafés, dhabas, and other food businesses where multiple tables and orders may be active at the same time.

Bill Sarthi also supports digital menu and QR-based ordering workflows. Restaurants can provide customers with access to a digital menu through a QR code, allowing customers to view menu items from their own devices. Digital ordering tools can complement the restaurant's existing staff-assisted ordering workflow.

The introduction of the Web POS expands the ways restaurants can use Bill Sarthi across their operations. A restaurant can use larger screens for counter or management workflows while continuing to use mobile devices where portability is more convenient. Bill Sarthi is currently available through its web platform as well as mobile applications.

The company's existing restaurant POS platform includes functionality related to billing, tables, kitchen orders, inventory, staff activity, and business reporting. Bill Sarthi is designed for food businesses including restaurants, cafés, QSRs, dhabas, cloud kitchens, and similar establishments.

The Web POS is intended for businesses that prefer a larger billing workspace, operate a dedicated counter, manage multiple active tables, or want desktop-style access to restaurant operations.
